Explore Living in Fenway

Whether you’re new to Boston or have been here for a bit, it’s easy to think that the only thing in Fenway is America’s oldest baseball park.

While this is true, Fenway is so much more. A burst of development has turned this land of sports bars into a bustling center of music, art, food and shopping. Hungry? A stroll down the street will give you options from fast-casual to Tiki-themed date nights. Craft beer pubs mingle easily with classy hotel bars. Trendy cafes are filled with students and the brightest minds in health care.

Fenway’s energy is all about location. Boston University, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Berklee College of Music, Northeastern University are here. Nearby is Longwood Medical Area, home to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital, world-renowned medical institutions.

Arts and culture add to Fenway’s dynamic scene. The Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum are nearby. You can catch a show at the Huntington Theatre or hear some of the world’s greatest musicians at Symphony Hall. Be sure to also check out the New England Conservatory and the House of Blues. The Emerald Necklace, part of Boston’s more than 1,100 acres of parkland, runs through it. The Charles River Esplanade, a grassy area bordering the Charles River, is close by.

If you want to be close to all the action that Boston has to offer, Fenway knocks it out of the park.
